Pistor is an independent Swiss wholesale partner for bakery, gastronomy, hospital, and care home supplies. Pistor was founded by members of the Swiss Bakers' Master Association as a national purchasing cooperative with headquarters in Lucerne. Over its 100-year history, it has developed from a cooperative self-help organization into a dynamic, Switzerland-wide leading trading and service company. In 2025, Pistor achieved a turnover of 858 million CHF and had 727 employees. In 2024, turnover was 827 million CHF with 700 employees. In 2023, turnover reached 797 million CHF. In 2022, turnover was 725.7 million CHF and the company exceeded 600 employees. In 2026, Pistor announced investments in western Switzerland and expansion of its distribution center in Chavornay.
