Pintaras Jaya Berhad is a leading piling and foundation specialist based in Klang Valley, Malaysia, with 30 years of experience in the local construction industry. Founded in 1989 by Dr Chiu Hong Keong, a civil and geotechnical engineer, the company provides geotechnical expertise in piling systems, earth retaining systems, sub-structure and basement works. It became a public-listed company on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia in 1994 and was transferred to the Main Market in 1998. As of 2018, it expanded geographically to Singapore and acquired the Pintary Group of Companies, including Pintary Foundations Pte Ltd. Its core construction business operates in Malaysia and Singapore through main subsidiaries Pintaras Geotechnics Sdn Bhd and Pintary Foundations Pte Ltd. It also wholly acquired Prima Packaging Sdn Bhd in 1999, a metal container manufacturer producing industrial pails and cans.

Pintaras was founded by Dr Chiu Hong Keong, a civil and geotechnical engineer, and incorporated as a limited company on 23rd November 1989. In 1994, Pintaras became a public-listed company on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia (KLSE). In 1998, Pintaras Jaya Berhad was transferred to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia (KLSE). In 2008, Pintaras was nominated as one of the top 200 companies for the Forbes Asia "Best under a Billion Company" award, and was once again named one of the top 200 companies for the same award in 2013. 2014 marked its 25th anniversary; as of April 2014, Pintaras had a market capitalisation of approximately RM600 million and paid-up share capital exceeding RM160 million. In 2018, Pintaras wholly acquired Pintary International Pte Ltd in Singapore and its piling subsidiaries, Pintary Foundations Pte Ltd and Pintary Geotechnics Pte Ltd. In 1999, Pintaras wholly acquired Prima Packaging Sdn Bhd, a metal container manufacturer that specialises in producing industrial pails and cans.
