Pierre Guillaume is an independent perfumer who creates his fragrances in his own workshops in the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne. He grew up in a family of chemists and collected essential oils and odorant materials from childhood. At age 25, he attempted to reproduce the smell of his father's cigar cellar, creating the tobacco-spiced accord '02 Cozé', which was noticed by critics and popularized in the perfume blogosphere and among professional buyers in the early 2000s. In 2010, the company PIERRE GUILLAUME DIFFUSION was created with an internal production tool including a composition studio, a raw materials cellar, and a packaging line. A second workshop was inaugurated in 2015 to support the company's growth.
