PetrolValves is a flow solutions provider for the energy industry, specializing in the engineering of valves, actuators, and systems. The company has over 60 years of history and operates on a multi-regional basis to ensure local presence worldwide. Its roots are based in Italy.

PetrolValves was established in 1956, starting with small sizes valves production. In 1964-1965, the range of production included Wedge Gate Valves and Swing Check up to 42”, Ball valves up to 36”, Slab Gate Valves up to 36”. PetrolValves was recognized as one of the main valves’ manufacturers for Oil and Gas applications in Europe and Middle East. In 1968-1970, the 1st Top Entry Ball valve was patented, and production range increased up to 56’’ valves. PetrolValves entered international gas market and led the Subsea market. In 1973-1980, two new designs were patented: Choke valve and Double Disc valve, and the 1st metal to metal sealing Ball Valve was engineered. In 1981, PetrolValves introduced the Subsea Top Entry Ball Valve. In 1991-1993, the 1st Orifice Fitting Depressurized was developed, and a Service Department was founded. In 1995-1996, successful Europipe project and debut of Double Expanding Gate Valve occurred. In 1990-2000, PetrolValves achieved pioneer ISO certification and established key international offices.
