Performance Designed Products (commonly known as PDP) is an American manufacturer of video game accessories. The company builds controllers, headsets, and other gaming peripherals, and its products are sold under the PDP Gaming brand. PDP is now part of the Turtle Beach family. Following its acquisition by Turtle Beach Corporation, PDP's product lines have been integrated into Turtle Beach's broader gaming accessories portfolio. Turtle Beach directs customers looking for PDP Gaming gear to its own website, where the combined catalog of controllers, headsets, and accessories is presented. While specific founding details and headquarters are not provided in the available evidence, PDP's status as an American video game accessories manufacturer is well established.
History
Performance Designed Products (PDP) is an American video game accessories manufacturer. The company has built a business around designing and distributing peripherals for major gaming platforms, including controllers, headsets, and related accessories. Its products are marketed under the PDP Gaming name and have been sold through major retailers and platform holders. At some point, PDP was acquired by Turtle Beach Corporation, a publicly traded gaming audio and accessories company. Following the acquisition, PDP became part of the Turtle Beach family. Turtle Beach now hosts a dedicated page directing customers who are looking for PDP Gaming gear to the combined Turtle Beach catalog, stating: "Looking for PDP Gaming gear? PDP is now part of the Turtle Beach family. Learn where to find your favorite controllers, headsets, and accessories." This indicates that PDP's product lines have been folded into Turtle Beach's operations and distribution. The available evidence does not specify PDP's founding year, founder, or headquarters. However, its identity as an American video game accessories manufacturer is confirmed by Wikidata and the seed introduction. The brand remains active as a subsidiary of Turtle Beach Corporation.
PDP is acquired by Turtle Beach Corporation and becomes part of the Turtle Beach family.
