Penerbit UTeM, also known as UTeM Press, is the university press of Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), based in Melaka, Malaysia. It functions as the publishing and printing centre of the university, producing scholarly books, creative books, journals and academic materials, as well as graphic design, multimedia and printing services for the university community. The press began operations in 2002–2003 in a shop lot at Taman Tasik Utama, Ayer Keroh, Melaka, under the Chancellery, initially responsible for designing and printing university promotional materials. Over the following two decades it evolved through several restructurings and relocations, adding scholarly book publishing, graphic design, video production and an in-house printing and binding division. Since 2018 it has operated from the ground floor of the Perpustakaan Laman Hikmah Library building on UTeM's Main Campus. The press serves UTeM academics, researchers and external authors, offering services that include graphic design, book publishing, printing, and sales and marketing of university publications. It also engages in outreach activities such as webinars on academic and creative writing, and participates in national book events and awards. In 2024 it received a special award at the Anugerah Buku Negara (National Book Award) in the Prolific University Publisher category. As an academic publisher, Penerbit UTeM contributes to Malaysia's scholarly publishing landscape and supports the university's research and knowledge dissemination mission.

Penerbit UTeM, the university press of Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), traces its origins to 2002–2003, when it began operating from a shop lot at Taman Tasik Utama in Ayer Keroh, Melaka. At that time it was under the auspices of the Chancellery and was responsible for designing and printing university promotional materials. In 2004 it was upgraded to become a scholarly book publication centre, also taking on graphic design for promotional purposes and video publishing. By 2006 it had moved to the Technology Campus in Ayer Keroh, Melaka, where it operated until the end of 2008, supported by three main divisions: the Editorial Department, the Graphics Department and the Multimedia Department. At the end of 2008, operations moved to the City Campus on Jalan Hang Tuah, Melaka. In late 2009, UTeM Press underwent a restructuring that reduced its functions to two main areas: book publishing and marketing. In 2014, three main functions re-emerged: Book Publishing Services, Graphic Design Services and Video Production Services. In 2017, the University Printing Centre was established. In 2018, operations moved to the Main Campus, specifically the ground floor of the Perpustakaan Laman Hikmah Library building. The Printing Unit was upgraded to the Printing & Binding Division, and in-house printing was issued for all books published by UTeM Press. The press has continued to expand its services and outreach, including webinars on academic and creative writing, participation in national book events, and recognition such as the Anugerah Khas Buku Negara 2024 in the Prolific University Publisher category.
