PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (PEFINDO) was established on 21 December 1993 by the initiative of the Capital Market Supervisory Agency/BAPEPAM (now the Financial Services Authority or Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) and Bank Indonesia.
