Poor Hygiene at Jointly Operated Hand-Rolled Noodle Workshop; Brand Ends Partnership and Compensates Customers

In June 2024, a customer filmed hygiene problems at the processing site of a Pangdonglai jointly operated hand-rolled noodle (ganmianpi) vendor. After investigating, the brand terminated the partnership, held management staff accountable, rewarded the customer who reported it, and announced a compensation plan for consumers. Responsibility involved the jointly operated vendor and the mall's review and oversight, and did not extend to all self-operated food products.
