It was founded in April 2003 by businessman Jusak Kereh and began broadcasting on 4 October 2003, initially airing eight hours daily from 16:00 to 24:00 WITA. Within three months, on 10 December 2003, it expanded to 18 hours per day, and by early 2007 it reached 20 hours per day. The station distinguished itself in the competitive Manado television market, surviving more than eight years while other local stations such as TV Manado and Bunaken TV lasted only about a year. It aired a mix of local programming, including news, talk shows, religious content, and entertainment, and was affiliated with Voice of America for some program relays. (2003–2013) to "Inspirasi Kawanua" (2013–2016), "Berita dan Inspirasi Indonesia" (2016–2017), and "Independen | Tepercaya" (2017–present). At some point, the station was acquired by or became part of the Kompas TV network and was rebranded as Kompas TV Manado. As Kompas TV Manado, it continues to serve the Manado and North Sulawesi region with local programming and relays of Kompas TV national content.
