Overview

OZWE Games is a Swiss development studio pioneering in Virtual Reality (VR) games with Oculus (Facebook-owned) as official partner. The studio focuses on creating and developing VR gaming interfaces that lay the foundations of new interactive systems and patterns within VR. It has a history of developing games for Samsung Gear VR, including Anshar Wars and Anshar Wars 2.

History

OZWE Games was founded in 2008 with a focus on robotics to invent a computer that is fully controllable remotely through gestures. In 2009, they developed QB1, a new kind of personal computer able to track the user visually and to surround him/her with an interactive halo. Samsung and Logitech bought early versions of the QB1. In 2010, they formed Bookapp.com, a joint-venture to adapt existing practices based on printed documents to new reading interfaces. In 2014, they launched Anshar Wars and VRtillery for the Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition. In 2015, they released Anshar Wars 2 for the Samsung Gear VR Commercial Launch. In 2016, they released the first cross-game available on Gear VR and Rift, and Samsung bundled its phones with Anshar Wars.
