OV-op-Maat

OV-op-Maat is a flexible mobility solution that smartly combines different transport services. In regions where regular bus transport is little used at certain times, it supplements the timetable with extra options; outside peak hours it supplements the public transport timetable or replaces fixed lines with flexible transport. It uses vehicles already deployed for target-group transport, making it suitable for travellers who have more difficulty using regular public transport, such as the elderly or people in vulnerable health, offering them an affordable, inclusive alternative. Travellers reserve a ride via the OV-op-Maat app or by telephone, travelling at an agreed time from a chosen bus stop to a chosen destination, with destinations determined in consultation with the regional contracting authority.
