Omega Brush is an Italian manufacturer of paint brushes and shaving brushes, as well as other shaving supplies. The company was established in 1931 when it was taken over by the current ownership, which had started the business in the years immediately after World War I. Initially focused on processing pig bristles, it later shifted to producing shaving brushes and then paint brushes. In the early 1980s, rollers were added to the production line. The company has remained family-run and has become a leader in the professional paint brush and shaving product sectors.
History
The company was born in 1931, when it was taken over by the previous ownership, which had started it in the years immediately after World War I. At that time, the main activity was the processing of pig bristles, progressively replaced after the war by the production of shaving brushes first, and then paint brushes. In the early 1980s, the production of industrial brushes was joined by that of rollers, the latter becoming a prominent component in the 'OMEGA' catalog. The activity has always remained family-run and has found an important place in the market for industrial brushes, especially professional ones, and in that dedicated to shaving products, becoming a leading company in the sector. In 1964, the production plant was transferred from the original premises to the new and current headquarters, expanded several times over the years to reach the current 4500 square meters. The family has continued to expand and improve the business with the same commitment, determination, and passion, always involving new generations, four of them, who have succeeded up to today and are still engaged in a project born in such distant times. The current President of the Company, who at thirteen began to contribute to the paternal company, now ninety years old, is still involved, flanked by grandchildren and other family members, as well as many other qualified collaborators.
