NuAire manufactures quality lab products, including biosafety cabinets, laminar flow hoods, CO2 incubators, ultralow freezers, and equipment for biomedical/microbiological laboratories and compounding pharmacies. Founded in 1971, the company has grown into a leading laboratory equipment company with facilities in Minnesota.

NuAire was founded in 1971 after engineer Max D. Peters designed the first modern-day Biological Safety Cabinet in his garage in response to an NIH purchase specification. The company has since grown into a leading laboratory equipment company, operating out of three facilities in Plymouth and Long Lake, Minnesota, with over 300,000 square feet of manufacturing space. To date, NuAire has sold more than 100,000 Biosafety Cabinets.
