Novolog is an Israeli company founded in 1966 that works to improve the healthcare field in Israel and adapt it to future challenges. Novolog began its path in 1966 under the name "Pharm-Avik," headed by Eliezer Pozis, z"l. The young company engaged in distribution of pharmaceutical and OTC products and focused on distribution to the private market. The company's first warehouses were established and it offered distribution services for the growing pharmacies in the State of Israel. In 1984, "Pharm-Avik" developed and grew and decided to use the capabilities it had accumulated to enter additional fields. The company began offering advertising and sales services for the private market in Israel and became a significant player in the pharmaceutical industry and pharmacies in Israel. In 1995, Novolog became a strategic partner of multinational pharmaceutical companies in Israel and, in a far-sighted strategic move, focused its activity on prescription drugs. The company began providing a service envelope for international pharma companies and simultaneously expanded its logistics array by establishing spacious warehouses in the Petah Tikva area. In 2011, Novolog established innovative and automated warehouses in the Modi'in industrial area. The new facility includes cold rooms, optimal air-conditioning and temperature-control systems, and advanced storage, packaging and transportation systems, ensuring maximum preservation of product quality and safety of use. In 2017, Novolog was listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The company began trading under the ticker נבלג. In the same year, the company began providing home medical care services in the respiratory and sleep field. In 2021, logistics, health and digital changed the face of the healthcare system in Israel. Novolog moved to a divisional structure developing services and products in three areas — logistics, health and digital — with the aim of improving the healthcare field in Israel and adapting it to future challenges.
