History
NHBB was founded in 1946 in Peterborough, NH, by Arthur N. Daniels and Pierre Wentworth. The company expanded its manufacturing operations twice in its first ten years. In 1956, it broke ground on a new manufacturing plant south of the village, which now serves as headquarters and manufacturing operations of the HiTech Division. In 1964, NHBB acquired Astro Bearing Company, a manufacturer of rod end and spherical bearing products, and relocated it to Laconia, NH in the early '70s. After nearly forty years as an independent company, NHBB was acquired by MinebeaMitsumi in 1985.
