Nextensa is a leading real estate investor and developer. It was established as a regulated Belgian real estate company under the name Leasinvest Real Estate before becoming, in 2021, a mixed real estate investor and developer following a merger with Extensa. Nextensa is listed on Euronext Brussels and active in Luxembourg, Belgium and Austria. The company's investment portfolio is divided between the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (34%), Belgium (52%) and Austria (14%); its total value as at 31/12/2025 was approximately €1.1 billion. As a developer, Nextensa is primarily active in shaping large urban developments, including the Tour & Taxis site in Brussels and the Cloche d'Or in Luxembourg.
History
Nextensa was established as a regulated Belgian real estate company under the name Leasinvest Real Estate before becoming, in 2021, a mixed real estate investor and developer following a merger with Extensa. In 2025, Nextensa acquired Proximus Towers at the North station in Brussels and welcomed Proximus at Tour & Taxis. It also sold its entire 8.99% stake in Retail Estates and sold its shares in Monteco BV.
