Oxford Street fire-safety prosecution
After the 2007 Oxford Street store fire, investigators identified extensive failures in fire-safety precautions and measures. New Look pleaded guilty to criminal charges and was fined £400,000, with an additional £136,052 in costs. The fines were upheld on appeal in 2010.
