New Inn Cinema

New Inn Cinema is a former cinema located in New Grimsby, on the Isles of Scilly, England. It is recorded as a historic cinema venue rather than an active commercial brand today. The name is associated with the New Inn, a public house on Tresco, and the cinema operated as part of the island's small-scale entertainment and hospitality offering. Because the Isles of Scilly are a remote archipelago off the south-west coast of England, the cinema served a very small local population and visiting tourists. The venue is now defunct, and its legacy is mainly local and historical. The available evidence identifies it simply as a former cinema in New Grimsby, Isles of Scilly, England, without further detail on ownership, opening dates, or programming. It is therefore best understood as a local heritage cinema brand rather than a major commercial chain.

New Inn Cinema was a cinema in New Grimsby, on the Isles of Scilly, England. The Isles of Scilly form a small archipelago off the south-western tip of Cornwall, and New Grimsby is a settlement on the island of Tresco. The cinema's name links it to the New Inn, a public house in the same area, suggesting that the venue was connected to the local hospitality trade. Like many small island cinemas, it would have served a tiny resident population alongside seasonal visitors. The evidence available identifies it only as a former cinema, and no founding date, ownership history, or closure date is provided. It is no longer operating and is remembered chiefly as part of the islands' local cultural and leisure history.
