Founded in 2000, Net-Chinese is described as the first ICANN-accredited registrar in Taiwan and an important registrar in Asia. In addition to domain name registration, it offers email, website builder, SSL certificates and consultation for brand protection and internet marketing. It provides registration for more than 170 ccTLDs and states that more than 800 top level domains can be registered through it. In 2013 it became the .taipei registry operator, and it launched the DN LAB (domain name laboratory) in 2016.
