Neki inc. (株式会社ねき) is a Japanese design and photography studio based in Kyoto. The company name "neki" is an old dialect word used mainly in western Japan, meaning "beside," "near," or "root." The studio was founded in June 2018 by Satao Sakata and Mai Narita, with Mayuko Okegawa joining in April 2018. Its website launched in June 2019, and Yū Nishinomiya joined in April 2023. The company operates from an office in Shimogamo Honmachi, Sakyo-ku, Kyoto. Neki inc. provides graphic design services including logo marks, books, product packaging, pamphlets, posters, leaflets, shop cards, business cards, venue and store signage/POP, and websites. It also offers photography services such as portrait photography, magazine store interview shoots, event and exhibition space photography, and product photography, as well as on-location shooting for family photos and portraits. The studio's philosophy centers on re-examining and reconstructing the meanings of everyday things through design and photography, aiming to discover and convey wonder, beauty, and irreplaceability. The representative, Satao Sakata, was born in Uji, Kyoto in 1985, graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design's Department of Information Design, worked at graf in Osaka for three years, and became independent in 2010. Co-founder Mai Narita was born in Tokyo in 1984, raised in Yamagata, studied photography at the same university, and became independent in 2010; she won the Grand Prize and Judges' Prize at the 2009 littlemoreBCCKS photo book competition. The studio is private and active, with a focus on Kyoto and the Kansai region.

Neki inc. was founded in June 2018 by Satao Sakata and Mai Narita. Prior to founding, both had established independent careers: Sakata graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design's Department of Information Design, worked at graf in Osaka for three years, and became independent in 2010; Narita studied photography at the same university and became independent in 2010, winning the Grand Prize and Judges' Prize at the 2009 littlemoreBCCKS photo book competition. Mayuko Okegawa joined the team in April 2018, shortly before the official founding. The company launched its website in June 2019. In April 2023, Yū Nishinomiya joined. The studio is based in Kyoto and continues to operate as a private design and photography firm.
