NDV Neue Darmstädter Verlagsanstalt

NDV Neue Darmstädter Verlagsanstalt is a German publishing company. In May 1949 the Berlin publisher Adolf Holzapfel founded Neue Darmstädter Verlagsanstalt GmbH in Darmstadt, bringing with him the publishing rights to Kürschners Volkshandbuch. From 1950 the press published the protocol volumes of the so-called 'Darmstädter Gespräche', and the 'Kürschner' on the German Bundestag first appeared in 1953. The 'Amtliche Handbuch des Deutschen Bundestages' was also published by the Neue Darmstädter. Adolf Holzapfel died in early 1958 and his son Klaus took over. Today the publishing house operates under the Kürschners Politikkontakte brand, offering databases such as Kürschners Datenbank, Kürschners Kommunal, Kürschners Diplomaten and OECKL Wirtschaft, as well as books including Kürschners Volkshandbuch Deutscher Bundestag.
