NCT Alliance Berhad is a Malaysian property development brand operating within the NCT Group of Companies. The group traces its origins to 1985, when Dato’ Sri Yap Ngan Choy founded NCT, which became a leader in the supply and installation of tiles for property projects. It later expanded into construction, real estate and building materials, and became known for rehabilitating abandoned projects. NCT Group of Companies began in 1985 when Dato’ Sri Yap Ngan Choy founded NCT, which quickly became a leader in the supply and installation of tiles for property projects. By 1997, NCT Tiling had become the biggest tiling company in Malaysia. In 2000, the group expanded into construction, real estate and building materials with the establishment of NCT Building & Civil Engineering Sdn Bhd, completing more than RM10 billion worth of contracts and earning a reputation as a White Knight developer through rehabilitation of abandoned projects. In 2012, NCT was appointed by the Malaysian Government to restore Bandar Salak Tinggi, the country’s largest recovery project at the time, completed within three years. In 2013, it was appointed to rehabilitate Billion Court, Pahang’s largest abandoned project at the time. The group has since developed residential, retail, hotel and industrial park projects, including NCT Smart Industrial Park @ Sepang, Selangor; NCT Innosphere @ Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah; Grand Ion Majestic @ Genting Highlands; and Grand Ion Delemen @ Genting Highlands.
