nashᵀᴺ is a conceptual streetwear and lifestyle brand based in Nashville, Tennessee, serving the Nashville community through locally designed apparel and retail experiences. The brand sells Nashville-themed shirts, hats, sweatshirts, art prints, and gifts, and is associated with the "Nashville Looks Good On You" public mural series. Its black-and-white aesthetic is intended to blend into the background and let artists and dreamers take the limelight. nashᵀᴺ began when a creative director and designer was reworking an old illustration of the Nashville skyline and noticed a small "TN" that at first glance looked like a trademark. Seeing creativity packed into such a simple design, the founder thought it would be cool to do intentionally and create an entire brand around it. The founder created several products, arranged production, and set up a website to offer the idea to those who celebrate Nashville's creative energy. Within six months, the brand painted its first of many "Nashville Looks Good On You" murals, starting at Frothy Monkey® in 12 South. The brand describes its black-and-white aesthetic as a way of blending into the background and letting artists and dreamers take the limelight. Its shirts, hats, and posters are designed and printed in Nashville, Tennessee, using local suppliers whenever possible.
