Nan Liu Enterprise Company Limited

Nan Liu Enterprise Company Limited is a Taiwanese enterprise that produces nonwoven fabrics and biotechnology materials. It was founded in 1978 by Huang Ching-Shan in Qiaotou Township, Kaohsiung County, and its name derives from his birthplace, Liujia in Tainan. The company operates plants in Qiaotou and Yanchao districts of Kaohsiung as well as in mainland China and India. Its product range includes spunlace wood-pulp composite fabric, wet wipes, hot-air and hot-pressed nonwoven fabrics, medical nonwovens, spunlace nonwovens, masks, and facial mask fabrics, alongside its own brand of consumer products.

Nan Liu Enterprise Company Limited was founded in 1978 by Huang Ching-Shan in Qiaotou Township, Kaohsiung County. The company name was chosen out of affection for and to give back to his hometown, Liujia in Tainan. It initially produced and sold household goods such as scouring pads and grinding wheels. In 1992 it became Taiwan's first company to use imported carding machines for hot-pressed and hot-air products. In 2005 it established a 120-mu new plant in the Pinghu Economic Development Zone in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China, investing in Europe's 4.5M widest spunlace equipment. Its hot-pressed and hot-air nonwoven production lines began operation in the second quarter of 2008. In 2019 it set up a South Asia production base in Ahmedabad, in northwestern India, with a site of 42,000 square meters. In 2012 the Nan Liu Charitable Foundation was established.
