Namics

Namics is a Japanese company that develops and manufactures electronic materials, such as insulating coatings, conductive pastes, and encapsulants. Founded in 1946, it has grown into a global player with sales and production bases in Asia, America, and Europe. The company's philosophy is 'Small but Global', aiming to be the only one and number one in its niche field.

Namics was founded in 1946 in Niigata, starting with paint manufacturing. In 1958, it developed Japan's first moisture-proof insulating paint 'Ceracoat'. In 1980, it discontinued its general paint division to focus on electrochemical materials. In 2001, it adopted the 'Small but Global' philosophy. It expanded overseas starting in 1999 with a manufacturing plant in China, followed by sales bases in the US, Europe, and Singapore. By 2006, overseas sales exceeded 50%.
