nal von minden is a company that for more than 40 years has been developing, producing and distributing rapid medical tests, rapid drug tests, urine test strips as well as tests for blood analysis and POCT systems. It supports medical professionals, authorities and industrial companies worldwide. The company was formed in 2008 through a merger of von Minden GmbH and nal24 GmbH.

For more than 40 years, nal von minden has been developing, producing and distributing rapid medical tests, rapid drug tests, urine test strips as well as tests for blood analysis and POCT systems. Wolfgang von Minden, a trained chemical technician, founded von Minden GmbH as a distributor for laboratory reagents and solutions in Moers on the Lower Rhine. When he recognised rapid drug tests as a growth market, the product range was expanded to include toxicology in 1995. Roland Meißner, a business economist, and Thomas Zander, a molecular biologist, were active in the same growth market with their company nal24 GmbH in Regensburg on the Danube. In 2008, von Minden GmbH and nal24 merged to form nal von minden GmbH. Over the years, further locations were added, including a research and production facility in Göttingen, a sales location in Rosdorf, and locations in the UK, Sweden and Italy. Since 2015, ESA Test GmbH has been a wholly owned subsidiary of nal von minden GmbH.
