Overview

Muraki Ltd. is a Japanese company founded in 1906 in Osaka by Shozo Muraki as Muraki Shoho, initially dealing in watches and later expanding into precision machinery and industrial tools. Its Machine Tools Division handles products from European and American partners such as G. Boley, DIXI, Albrecht, and Irix, serving industries from automotive to aerospace. The Precision Engineering Division supplies precision components for HDDs, automotive, semiconductor manufacturing, and space equipment, leveraging overseas bases in the Philippines, Hong Kong, China, and Malaysia. The Electronic Equipment Division provides PCB processing machines, including X-ray drilling machines, in technical alliance with Seiko Future Creation. Muraki is headquartered in Tokyo with branches in Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Kofu, and has a global network spanning Singapore (closed), Manila, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Kunshan, and Malaysia. The company celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2006 and its 115th in 2021. It remains privately held and is led by President Shinji Yamamoto since 2021.
