Mr. W Fireworks

Mr. W Fireworks traces its origins to 1963, when W. A. Wildman and Jerry Watson opened their first fireworks stand on US Hwy 90 just outside San Antonio, Texas. After two years at that single location, they established 18 additional locations around San Antonio in small surrounding towns, and in 1966 they divided the locations between themselves, creating Mr. W. The company was incorporated in 1972 and operates fireworks stands in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. It remains a family-operated company with the third generation becoming active, and in 2003 it opened its first three indoor Super Stores. The company has partnered with churches and other faith-based organizations in operating its stands.
