  Director's leak of inside information leads to insider trading penalty

  Xu Fuyuan, a director of Motic, leaked inside information, on which Wu Chunlu traded Motic shares and made a profit of 1.52 million yuan. A subsidiary was also fined 622,500 yuan for environmental violations. The Xiamen securities regulator confiscated the illegal gains and imposed a fine, totaling 3.04 million yuan in confiscation and penalties.
