Moomers Homemade Ice Cream is a family-owned business that started in April 1998 on the Plummer family farm. It makes over 150 flavors of premium ice cream, with over 20 available daily. The shop has received recognition such as America's Best Scoop Shop by Good Morning America and Best Ice Cream in the Country by USA Today. Two of Nancy and Bob's children, Jon and Becky, are key players in daily operations.

Moomers Homemade Ice Cream was born from a love for ice cream and a simple idea that kept emerging in Nancy Plummer's daily life. As a wife, mother of four, and first-grade teacher, Nancy found herself dreaming of creating a place where people could enjoy premium, homemade ice cream in a country setting. Living on their dairy farm provided the perfect natural location for their new venture. In April of 1998, the doors to Moomers opened. Over the years, Moomers has garnered numerous accolades, including recognition as America's Best Scoop Shop by Good Morning America and Best Ice Cream in the Country by USA Today. Today, Moomers remains a family-owned business, and two of Nancy and Bob's 4 children, Jon and Becky, are key players in daily operations.
