Monitex Industrial Co. is a Taiwanese manufacturer of dental equipment and devices, established in 1995 as the manufacturing arm of FOMED Dental Inc. (founded 1978). The MONITEX brand was created to expand into international product markets, and the company has since developed a broad portfolio of clinical instruments for general dentistry. Its product lines include curing lights (BlueLEX, LITE Q, Ti-Lite), alginate mixers (Algimax, AutoMAX, A.MAX), capsule mixers, intraoral cameras, ultrasonic scalers, whitening systems, and laboratory products. Monitex operates its own large-scale factory in Taiwan and provides ODM and OEM services for international brand agents, with over 28 years of experience in OEM manufacturing for well-known brands. The company holds CE, GMP, and FDA certifications and emphasizes quality management systems. In 2012, it expanded into the beauty market with the Kerenna brand for teeth-whitening products. Monitex Industrial Co. traces its origins to FOMED Dental Inc., founded in 1978 under the leadership of President Mr. Shu-Lung Wang, with a mission to elevate standards in general dentistry. In 1995, FOMED established its own large-scale factory, MONITEX Industrial Company Ltd, to manufacture dental equipment and expand into international product markets. The MONITEX brand was thus created, focusing on research, development, and production of a broad range of clinical instruments. The company received CE certification in 2001, followed by the launch of its Halogen Series in 2002. In 2004, FOMED established a Kaohsiung office, and Monitex launched its LED Curing Light Series. GMP and FDA certifications were received in 2005, alongside the launch of the Alginate Mixer Series. Subsequent years saw the introduction of the Intraoral Camera Series (2006), Ultrasonic Scaler Series (2007), Capsule Mixer Series (2008), and Whitening System Series (2009). A new MONITEX factory was established in 2010. In 2012, Monitex created the Kerenna brand to expand into the beauty market with teeth-whitening products. FOMED opened a Taichung office in 2013. In 2016, FOMED introduced the KIKI Bear & KEKE Bear characters. The company celebrated FOMED BIOTECH INC's 40th anniversary in 2018. In 2019, Monitex launched the new generation Alginate Mixer GX-One, and in 2020, it introduced the world's smallest Capsule Mixer. In 2021, the M7 New Curing Machine was launched. Monitex continues to operate as a manufacturer of dental equipment, offering ODM and OEM services and maintaining certifications including CE, GMP, and FDA.
