Millon Riviera

Millon Riviera is an auction house based in Nice, France, and part of the MILLON group of auction houses. Its official website presents it as a maison de ventes aux enchères active since 1928, with Paris, Nice and Brussels among its locations. The house conducts auctions in categories such as regional art, ceramics and glass, fragrances, numismatics, couture, books, jewellery and watches, and offers expertise and inventory services.

Millon Riviera's official history page states that the house dates back to 1928, when the Maison mère was founded at 5, avenue d'Eylau (Trocadero) in Paris. The study was then called ROBERT, after the father of one of the two founders who joined their professional destinies in the late 1980s. The page describes the house as having passed through four generations of commissaires-priseurs, with Paris, the Trocadero and Drouot as rallying and deployment points from the outset. It states that MILLON has today become a group of auction houses united by a holding company, and that the group holds more than 210 sales per year, including 50 online sales, with 11 commissaires-priseurs, 30 experts, and 70 clerks and collaborators across 15 cities in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Spain.
