Mi Technovation Berhad (Mi) is a Malaysian company whose name stands for Technology and Innovation. According to its official website, it innovates technology through its Semiconductor Equipment Business Unit (Mi Equipment), Semiconductor Material Business Unit (Mi Material), Semiconductor Technologies Business Unit (Mi Semiconductor) and Vehicle Technologies Business Unit (Ohima). Mi Equipment Holdings Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in June 2017 as an investment holding company and listing vehicle to prepare for an IPO. It acquired 100% equity in Mi Equipment (M) Sdn. Bhd. and Mi International Pte. Ltd., and was converted into a public limited company named Mi Equipment Holdings Berhad in August 2017. In 2018, its IPO was successful and it was listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 20 June 2018; the company name was changed to Mi Technovation Berhad on 27 December 2018. In 2019, its plant in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia (Home 1) was completed.
