Metronic Global Berhad ("MGB") was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 1965 on 22 October 2003. It was listed on the MESDAQ Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 24 May 2004 and subsequently transferred to the Main Board (now the Main Market) of Bursa Securities on 12 July 2007. Through its subsidiaries, the MGB Group specialises in system integration of intelligent building management systems (IBMS) and integrated security management systems (ISMS), e-project management (e-PM) of mechanical and electrical services, and provision of online administration services for the healthcare sector. The Group describes itself as a key player in the IBMS and ISMS industry in Malaysia.

The Group's evolution traces to August 1984, when Metronic Engineering Sdn Bhd ("MESB") was incorporated to provide building automation service specialising in IBMS and ISMS; MESB subsequently expanded into e-PM of mechanical and electrical service and supply of engineering systems, and carried products by principals such as TAC Controls Pte Ltd and Honeywell Integrated Security, USA.

The Group is presently a key player in the IBMS and ISMS industry in Malaysia.
