Overview

Marushime Corporation (マルシメ株式会社) is a privately held Japanese company headquartered in Shimogoicho, Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture. Founded in June 1910 (Meiji 43) as Marushime Suzuki Denji Shoten, it began by selling oil and fats, and over more than a century has grown into a diversified regional group centered on petroleum products, LP gas, service station operations, and related services. The company is a long-established supplier in the Higashi-Mikawa and Enshu regions of central Japan. The group's core business is the sale of fuel oil, lubricants, and other petroleum products, supported by transportation and cargo handling. It operates nine service stations across the group, sells LP gas, and runs a used-car trading business. Its service portfolio also includes automotive maintenance and vehicle inspections, insurance agency services, real estate leasing and management, sales of household goods and interior products, industrial waste collection and transport, and power retail agency services. The company emphasizes a total-support approach from petroleum product sales through recycling to final disposal. Marushime is led by President Yasutake Okuma. Its main business partners include Eneos Corporation, Aiceo Co., Ltd., OSG Corporation, Aisin Shiroki Co., Ltd., Seino Transportation Co., Ltd., Toyohashi Railroad Co., Ltd., Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, Aichi Prefectural Economic Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives, Wood One Co., Ltd., Kyowa Leather Cloth Co., Ltd., Shinto Kogyo Co., Ltd., Topy Industries, Ltd., Primearth EV Energy Co., Ltd., and Univance Corporation. Its main financial institutions are Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, Toyohashi Shinkin Bank, Nagoya Bank, Toyokawa Shinkin Bank, and Gamagori Shinkin Bank. The group includes several subsidiaries: Petrotrans Co., Ltd. (petroleum handling, storage, shipping management, and transport), Tokai Kyuso Co., Ltd. (fuel oil delivery), Thanks Mobility Co., Ltd. (Eneos service station operation and non-life insurance sales), Makino Auto Industry Co., Ltd. (automotive maintenance and used-car sales), Green Gas Co., Ltd. (real estate leasing management and petroleum wholesale/direct sales), and Marusawa Co., Ltd. (industrial waste collection, transport, and intermediate processing, plus petroleum product property measurement and component analysis). In recent years, Marushime has pursued a "social problem-solving business" model, addressing environmental preservation and the challenges of a declining birthrate and aging population. It aims to provide products and services suited to a decarbonized society, including lower-environmental-impact materials and strengthened recycling operations, while also supporting mobility for seniors and comfortable living spaces. The company joined the Higashi-Mikawa Startup Promotion Council in July 2024 to support entrepreneurship, and continues to expand through group company integrations and new business initiatives.
