Marine Gateway

Marine Gateway is a LEED Gold transit-oriented, mixed-use development that anchors South Vancouver's neighbourhood town centre. It opened in 2015 at Cambie Street and SW Marine Drive, with direct access to the Canada Line and bus transit. The development combines over 240,000 SF of multi-storey retail, a 14-storey office building, and 461 residential homes (market and rental), along with a public realm. Its retail mix includes an 11-screen Cineplex VIP Movie Theatre, Fitness World, T&T Supermarket, Shoppers Drug Mart, banks, shops and services, and numerous restaurants and food outlets. The office component at 450 SW Marine Drive is a 260,000 SF Class A LEED Gold building supporting 1,250 jobs, with WeWork flexible work spaces. Residential offerings include 415 condominium suites and 46 dedicated rental suites.

Marine Gateway marked the opening of South Vancouver's urban town centre at Cambie Street and SW Marine Drive in 2015. Planning for the project began in 2008, and it was described as a project ahead of its time. It has become an example of forward-thinking city-building, combining direct transit integration of two major transit hubs (Marine Drive Station on the Canada Line and the South Vancouver Bus Loop) with over 240,000 SF of multi-storey retail, a 14-storey office building, 461 residential homes (market and rental), and a public realm. It was constructed to LEED Gold standards.
