Makaka Éditions is a French independent publishing house founded in 2007 by Shuky Médina and Sarah Laca. It specialises in bande dessinée (comic books), BD-jeux (game-comics) and livres-jeux (gamebooks), and is best known for its collection La BD dont vous êtes le héros, launched in 2012. The publisher's catalogue blends comics with branching, choose-your-own-adventure mechanics, allowing readers to make choices that alter the story.
