Magen

Magen (מגן) is an Israeli association whose stated mission is to illuminate the darkness surrounding sexual harm, which it says overshadows families, institutions and communities. It describes its work as building a culture in which every victim knows they are never alone, and it frames a strong community as a safe community. Its services are organized around awareness-raising and education, accompaniment and investigations, and support and rehabilitation. The organization states that since 2019 it has held 121 awareness-raising events, supported 3,600 survivors, and handled 3,600 cases involving law enforcement authorities, with 5,121 cases concluded.

The site reports activity figures since 2019: 121 awareness-raising events held, 3,600 survivors supported, 3,600 cases involving law enforcement authorities handled, and 5,121 cases concluded. It also states that Magen's work is made possible with the support of its generous partners.
