The Brauerei H. Müller AG was founded in 1897 by brewer Hans Müller, who bought the former Johann Weber brewery, which had been built eleven years earlier. Over almost 125 years, the family business Müller Bräu has been shaped by highs and lows across three generations. The brewery states that it remained committed to tradition without closing itself off to new things, and that adherence to the Reinheitsgebot and timely diversification without unnecessary risks paid off. Since 1 January 2022, three regionally strong Swiss family businesses have worked together: Müller Bräu cooperates with the Brauerei Falken and the wine and drinks merchant SCHÜWO, an arrangement agreed on 29 June 2021, which strengthens the strategic orientation of the three independent Swiss family businesses and creates the necessary conditions for the continuation of its brewing tradition and for the planned redesign of the Müller Bräu area.
