Luminescence Technology Corp. (Lumtec) is an acknowledged world manufacturer in organic chemicals, eg. OLED materials, with over 20 years of experience developing innovative organic optoelectronic materials in the markets of OLED, OPV and OTFT. The company is present in 7 locations worldwide and its product range includes OLED material, OPV material, OTFT material, Organic Intermediates, Boronic Acid, ITO Patterned Glass and components, developed and manufactured in Hsin-Chu, Taiwan. Lumtec also offers custom synthesis and OEM/ODM products, and its R&D team makes related materials on demand in scale ranges from grams to kilo-grams.

Lumtec was established in Hsinchu in 2001 and developed OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) Materials. In 2004 it set up an OLED Certificated Lab and its headquarters moved into the Hsinchu Science Park; in 2005 the headquarters moved into the Hsinchu Science Park and Factory I for mass production was established. A Taipei Office was set up in 2008, and Factory II for mass production was established in 2009. The company developed OPV (Organic Photovoltaic/Solar Cell) Materials in 2010 and set up an OPV Certificated Lab for Material and Device in 2011. In 2012 it cooperated with overseas and local panel makers and was certified by the ISO9000 system; in 2013 it developed OLED Flexible Printed Electronics Materials and was certified by the ISO14000 system. It was certified by local panel makers and became an official supplier in 2014. In 2015 it established a Green Energy and Energy Saving Lighting R&D Center and set up an OLED Lighting Business Division. It received government subsidy for OLED R&D programs in 2016 and for OPV R&D programs in 2017, and set up an overseas office in Beijing, China in 2017. In 2018 it had an IPO in Taiwan, and in 2019 launched kinds of mass-produced OLED lighting panels with multi-colors, sizes and customized designs and had an IPO in Taiwan (Initial Public Offerings, 6729). New product lines OPD/PPD/OTFT/PAI were added in 2020, PI Monomer mass production began in 2023, a Taipei R&D Center was set up in 2024, and in 2025 it partnered with FCFC.
