London Marathon Events Limited

London Marathon Events is a world-leading events management company and a social purpose organisation. Together with its parent charity, the London Marathon Foundation, it works to inspire activity across all ages, abilities and demographics. It creates and delivers an extensive portfolio of running and swimming events, including the TCS London Marathon, along with initiatives and outreach programmes that inspire activity in schools and communities across the UK. It passes its surplus every year through corporate gift aid to its parent charity, the London Marathon Foundation.

London Marathon Events created the London Classics in 2017 to recognise and reward participants who had completed its three toughest challenges: the London Marathon, the RideLondon 100 and the two-mile event at Swim Serpentine. More than 4,000 athletes have completed the treble. In 2026, riders can substitute RideLondon for the 2026 Etape Loch Ness as part of their London Classics. Everyone who completes the three events receives the London Classics medal, engraved with the words Et ego Londinium vici (I too have conquered London), and is listed in the Hall of Fame. The events can be completed in any order over any time period, and the medal is awarded to participants in a special area after the finish of their third event.
