History

LIV Swiss Watches is a US-based Swiss watch company. According to its own story, the company was born out of a love for Swiss watches, notably the adoration held for them by co-founder Chaz; with his co-founder and wife Esti, he took Swiss watches and made them 'sexy,' creating unique designs. The company's stated milestones include launching on Kickstarter in 2015, the GX1 Swiss Chrono debuting in 2016 and raising over $1M in crowdfunding, the Rebel redefining nonconformism in 2017, the P-51 taking flight in 2018 with a titanium case, ceramic bezel and limited-edition variants, and LIV Headquarters opening in the Miami Wynwood Arts District in 2020 alongside the Saturn V Commemorative launch. In 2021 the first Dual Lume dial featuring BGW9 Swiss & C3 lume dials arrived; in 2023 the Gravel 001 Auto arrived with a dense carbon case and proprietary shock-resistant technology; in 2024 the Ocean Blue Divers launched with a matching strap; and in 2025 the Trekker GMT, described as LIV's first GMT, arrived after 13 months in the making and built entirely from scratch. The company describes itself today as the most crowdfunded Swiss watch micro-brand in history and still growing.
