LINCOM is an international academic publishing house mainly focusing on linguistics. It started in the early nineties with short descriptive grammars, emphasizing documentation of endangered languages. Today it covers a wide range of topics within the humanities, including linguistics, ethnology, phonetics, and various language studies, with an additional focus on dictionaries of lesser spoken languages.

An additional focus is laid on the publication of dictionaries of lesser spoken languages.
