Life Water Berhad

Life Water Berhad is a Malaysian bottled water manufacturer headquartered in Sandakan, Sabah. The company was founded by a young Sabahan couple, Mr Liaw Hen Kong from Tamparuli and Mdm Chin Lee Ling from Kota Belud, who left their accounting careers to pursue a business venture. Together with schoolmates Mr Tan Hwong Kuen and Mr Lim Young Piau, they pooled their resources to start a small bottled water manufacturing business in Sandakan. All four became directors, with Mr Liaw serving as Managing Director and Mdm Chin as Executive Director. From its modest beginnings in what was then a less-developed town, Life Water has grown into a leading bottled water manufacturer in Sabah. The company's mission is to provide affordable quality beverages to everyone, a commitment it continues to uphold. Life Water is also dedicated to environmental sustainability, implementing initiatives to reduce its carbon footprint through clean energy and proper waste management. It prioritizes social responsibility by caring for staff welfare, including remuneration, health and safety, training and development, and giving back to communities through CSR activities. As a public company in Malaysia, Life Water Berhad represents a significant player in the country's beverage industry, particularly in the state of Sabah.
