History

The history of the Lenkerhof began with a bathing house more than 350 years ago. On 13 December 2022 the Lenkerhof celebrated a grand anniversary: 20 years of Lenkerhof and 333 years of Bad Lenk. For more than three centuries the Lenkerhof has been a place of coming and going — for spa guests, employees and directors. In early July 2025 a guest surprised the hotel with old photographs of his ancestors: Pierre Vernier ran the Lenkerhof in 1884 and is visible in the picture together with Barbara Roffler, Adolphe, Frieda and André. The hotel's eventful past has been translated into the present-day interior architecture of the 7sources beauty & spa wellness area, creating one of Switzerland's most impressive and relaxing wellness landscapes on 2000 m².
