Overview
The Lebanon Valley Railroad was founded in 1836, one of the early railroads in Pennsylvania, connecting the Lebanon Valley area with major cities. It was later acquired by the Reading Railroad and became part of it. The railroad was gradually integrated in the late 19th century and eventually ceased independent operations.
