Lafuma Mobilier

Lafuma Mobilier is a French manufacturer of outdoor and garden furniture. Its official site presents it as a French manufacturer of garden furniture since 1954, and its history page states that the brand was created in Anneyron in the Drôme by the three brothers Alfred, Victor and Gabriel Lafuma in 1930, beginning with a metal-framed backpack before moving into camping furniture. The brand's product range includes relax chairs, sun loungers and folding chairs.

According to Lafuma Mobilier's own history page, the brand was created in Anneyron in the Drôme by the three brothers Alfred, Victor and Gabriel Lafuma in 1930. Its history began with a metal-framed backpack, described as a companion of the first French explorers. The brand later moved into camping and leisure furniture, developing during the post-war boom with paid holidays and the spread of the automobile. Its nomadic metal-and-textile furniture became associated with holidays. The same page lists historical dates: 1930 invention of the metal-framed backpack; 1954 first collections of folding camping furniture in tube and fabric; 1956 creation of the Chantazur brand; and 1961 birth of the RELAX Zéro Gravité multiposition chair. The official homepage describes Lafuma Mobilier as a French manufacturer of garden furniture since 1954.
