Koothattukulam Municipality

Koothattukulam Municipality is a local self-government body in Ernakulam district, Kerala, India. It covers an area of 23.18 square kilometres and includes the Koothattukulam revenue village in Muvattupuzha taluk. The town of Koothattukulam is the main urban centre within the municipality. The municipality is bordered by Ilanji and Veliyannoor grama panchayats to the south, Palakkuzha and Thirumarady grama panchayats to the north, Veliyannoor and Palakkuzha grama panchayats to the east, and Thirumarady and Ilanji grama panchayats to the west. As a municipality, it provides civic administration and local services to its residents.
