Koninklijk Nederlands Geleidehonden Fonds

KNGF Geleidehonden is an organization that trains assistance dogs. Its website describes how a hulphond (assistance dog) needs training to be able to help someone, and that only with contributions can the organization teach the dog this. It presents stories about assistance dogs and their owners, and states that a hulphond changes not only the life of one person but also of those around them, with research showing that freedom, independence and confidence return thanks to these dogs. It also states that a hulphond takes over 2 to 6 hours of care tasks per day from the immediate environment.
