Overview
KOMPO (КОМПО) is a Belarusian machine-building company based in Brest that designs and manufactures equipment and consumables for the meat-processing and dairy industries. Its product range centres on vacuum fillers (sausage stuffers) and clippers, supported by auxiliary equipment, continuous and U-shaped clips, sausage loops, spare parts and a broad service offering. The company was founded in 1991 by Mikhail Belousov and initially produced spare parts for carpet-weaving looms before pivoting to food-industry machinery in 1995. It has since grown into an exporter serving more than 40 countries, with a strong presence across the CIS as well as customers in Europe, the Americas and Australia. KOMPO's flagship lines include the KOMPO-MAKSI, KOMPO-OPTI and KOMPO-MINI vacuum fillers and the KN family of clippers (such as the KN-501, KN-201, KN-32 and KN-26). The company also supplies auxiliary equipment such as the VP-6000, NO-1 and UTD-01 units, and offers services including commissioning, diagnostics, overhaul, preventive maintenance, equipment rental, trade-in and service training. Its own machine-building production includes turning, milling, grinding, EDM, welding, heat treatment, waterjet cutting and laser marking, and it holds a certificate of conformity with European directives for equipment under the KOMPO brand. The company has been recognised for quality, receiving a Belarusian Government Prize in 2003 and an EFQM "Recognised for Excellence 4*" certificate in 2006. In 2024 it carried out a rebranding with the slogan "Expert in filling and clipping". Leadership passed from founder Mikhail Belousov to his daughter Ella Dzhangozova in 2020 and then to Valentin Pikul in 2023. KOMPO continues to present new products at trade fairs such as Agroprodmash and exports its machinery worldwide.
History
KOMPO was founded in 1991 in Brest, Belarus, by Mikhail Belousov. Initially the company focused on producing spare parts for carpet-weaving looms. In 1995 it began manufacturing equipment for the meat-processing industry, including clippers and vacuum fillers. In 1999 a second direction was introduced: the production of consumables for sealing products and date marking. Between 2005 and 2017 the enterprise launched another direction — the design, production and assembly of prefabricated buildings made of metal structures and sandwich panels. In 2006 the company began implementing a lean production system and received certificates of conformity for its machine-building products with EU requirements. In 2020 the position of director was taken by the founder's daughter, Ella Mikhaylovna Dzhangozova. In 2023 the general director role passed from Ella Dzhangozova to Valentin Valentinovich Pikul. In 2024 KOMPO presented three new products at the Agroprodmash exhibition: the KN-502 clipper, the KN-301 clipper and the PLT-1000 linker-type twister. In 2025 General Director Valentin Pikul joined the Council for Entrepreneurship Development under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus. In 2026 the KOMPO KN-501 clipper entered the top 100 best goods on the Russian market. The company exports to more than 40 countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Moldova, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Canada, Poland, Latvia, Turkey, Australia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Algeria, Slovakia, Mexico, Argentina, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic. It has production facilities in Belarus. In 2024 the company carried out a rebranding with the new slogan "Expert in filling and clipping".
